This environment was built using a modular kit and textures I created during my work on Camelot Unchained. For this portfolio piece, I assembled the kit inside Unreal Engine to showcase my skills in environment art, modular design, and technical presentation.
The castle shown here is a fresh composition, not a direct recreation from the project. I used many assets from Fab to help set dress, and I also pulled a Paladin model off Mixamo to pose and reskin for the statues.
My focus was on demonstrating:
•Modular kit design
•Custom material and texture work
•Environment composition
•Lighting, atmosphere, and final polish in Unreal Engine
This presentation is intended purely as an art and technical showcase of my contributions, separate from the final look of Camelot Unchained in its proprietary engine.
Sound Design for the main video was created by Kenneth Webster.
Original concept design by Mathew Weathers. Many thanks to the both of you!
Sound design by Kenneth Webster. Thanks Ken!
A lot of my textures start in ZBrush, but sometimes Substance Painter does the heavy lifting. This tudor wall is a good example of that.
